Simone Mosco

About Me

I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Information Engineering, at the University of Padova, under supervision of Prof. Alberto Pretto. I received my Master Degree in Computer Engineering - Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in 2023 at the University of Padova and my Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering in 2021 at the University of Padova.

I also developed simple Android apps and published them on the Play Store.

Research Interests

My research focuses on 3D perception, with particular interest in 3D reconstruction and 3D data interpretation for autonomous vehicles and UAVs.

• [Sep, 2025] Our paper is accepted at WACV 2026 (first-round acceptance).
• [Jul, 2025] Two papers are accepted at IROS 2025 and ECMR 2025.
• [Jun, 2025] We received an Honorable Mention Award at CVPR 25 Building3D Challenge.
• [Nov. 2024] I started my PhD in Computer Vision and Robotics at DEI UniPD.
• [Jul. 2024] Our paper WaffleAndRange is accepted at IROS 2024.
